About Elvie's Story
Who is Elvie?
Elvie Kingston is a long-time friend of Nubia and John Devine. Their relationship spans many decades, in times of joy and also times of difficulty. Though Elvie had no children of her own, she commonly referred to John as her "son" when introducing him. Elvie has always been known as "G-MA" to John and Nubia's six children.
Now, John & Nubia's oldest child Genesis (seen here with Elvie many years ago) has four young children who also call Elvie their "G-MA."
They have always been "family" but due to Elvie's recent health challenges, she has resided with The Devine family in their home since March 29,2022 with Nubia as her appointed her Guardian.
Their History
Elvie has been closely connected to John and Nubia through their passion for LIFE and the protection of it from conception until death. John, Nubia and Elvie have also been involved in Texas politics as strong Conservatives dedicated to Christian values.

Because of John and Nubia's heart-felt commitment to the sanctity of LIFE, they answered the call to do their part to save their friend Elvie.
